Get Your Greek On With This Tzatziki Recipe

You'll Need:

  • 1 whole cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup whole full fat, plain yoghurt (greek-style) 
  • 2 tbsp lemon 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Pinch of paprika 
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped


Step 01. Start with the cucumber. Cut it in half and remove the seeds. Finely grate the cucumber and allow it to stand. You will notice a LOT of water come out. We need to get rid of it so make sure you squeeze as much as possible out.

Step 02. Use a clean cloth to remove the rest (put the cucumber in the middle of the cloth and bring up the ends and twist the top together – the rest of the water will squeeze out. 

Step 03. Combine all the ingredients and mix well. Season with the salt, pepper, and paprika. Place in a pretty dish and sprinkle the top with the olive oil and an extra pinch of paprika.
