How to Keep the Weight Off for Good

You've lost the weight and youre feeling on top of the world. You feel like anything is possible, you finally feel like you are in full control of your weight.

Until...

...one morning you wake up and your clothes feel a bit tighter, your confidence takes a plunge! What now? you suddenly feel like you are not in control after all.

The truth is, reaching your weight loss goal is just half the battle.

To keep the weight that you have lost off requires a life style change, don't get disheartened though, with a bit of guidance you can keep your weight off for good.

Here are 4 Tips to help you Keep the Weight OFF

01. Never Break the Law of Three

Commit yourself to doing at least 3 strength training and cardio workouts per week. In simple terms do some cardio and strength in a single workout 3 times a week, or if you want keep the two separate and workout 6 times a week. Working out will always be crucial in staying fit so if you don't love it yet, learn to love it! I'ts here to stay. Here are some workouts you can do at home.

02. Make Fit Friends

Positive peer pressure can be a wonderful thing. While having fit friends you will feel a greater social nudge towards keeping yourself moving in a mutual fit and healthy direction. Don't underestimate the power of peer pressure!

03. Keep Things Interesting

Explore different forms of exercise such as yoga, Pilates or even fun and crazy Kettle-bell conditioning. Fresh fitness experiences can keep your mind off the pain of exercise. Doing the same workouts over and over and over again can get extremely boring and will more than likely push you away from working out at all.

04. The BEST way to keep something is to give it away.

Help out a friend or a family member that needs to lose weight. This is probably the single biggest tip I can give you. This will keep your focus off yourself which will take your pain away. It's funny what we can achieve when our focus moves onto someone apart from ourselves.

Follow the above 4 tips and you'll keep the results you worked so hard for.
